Biography
Dr. Carly Weiner is a cosmetic dentist at WLA Dental Center, a privately-owned practice in Los Angeles, CA owned by cosmetic dentistry expert Dr. Abdi Sameni. Dr. Carly brings a new meaning to the expression “put your best face forward” with dental reconstructive procedures using non-invasive techniques resulting in a more natural smile.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Dr. Carly observed the many fads of cosmetic enhancements. “Growing up in Miami, there is a prevalence of renewal and reconstructive treatments for skin, hair, body and teeth. Known as one of the most beautiful destinations due to its residents and tourists, the market for new developments in cosmetic procedures was and still remains in high demand,” explains Dr. Carly.
With an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry from the University of Miami and armed with a thorough understanding of humanistic behavior, Dr. Carly gained interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry. Post graduation and eager for a change in climate and surroundings, Dr. Carly relocated to California. She attended the acclaimed University of Southern California, the nationâ’s top-ranked school for dentistry and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

The program was started by Dr. Charles Goldstein since 1970, who led a remarkable crusade to provide access to care for thousands of children and adults. In its 43-year history, the USC Mobile Clinic provided dental care to more than 81,000 children and provides more than $1 million worth of dental care annually at no cost. The organization continues to reduce oral health disparities throughout Southern California and beyond. Dr. Carly also plans to work with USC as an adjunct professor at USC School of Dentistry in Spring 2011.
